Dale Stuber started Stuber Land Design in 1994 with the intention of giving Central Illinois a landscape company that was distinctively design driven and dedicated to quality construction. Our goal is to work with you to provide the perfect setting for your home or business. Whether you need to make a few minor changes or want to create a whole new look, we have the experience, personnel, and equipment.

Dale Stuber, Owner and Landscape Architect
Dale has a Bachelors Degree in Ornamental Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois and is a registered Landscape Architect in the state of Illinois. After working for Wirkus Nurseries near Chicago for 9 years Dale moved back to his hometown of Tremont to start his own landscape business, Stuber Land Design, Inc. in February of 1994. He is overseer of the designers and crews, making himself familiar with all of the companies' projects. Due to his success, he has been asked to speak and teach at meetings and seminars.

Tom Schureman, Designer and Sales
Tom has a BSE in Education with a minor in Biology from John Brown University in Arkansas. He is a registered Landscape Architect and Certified Nursery Professional in the state of Illinois. Tom has been working in the landscape industry since 1978. His work experience has been in management of garden centers, landscape design, outdoor lighting and interior landscaping. Tom has worked in several parts of the U.S. allowing him to experience regional and national trends in landscape design. He is also a member of the Illinois Green Industry Association and is active on the Education Committee for Pro-Hort.

Adam Campbell, Estimator/Design Assistant
Adam was born and raised in Pekin, IL. He graduated Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture with an added emphasis on landscape design. Adam is an ISA Certified Arborist and has experience as an assistant manager of the landscaping division at a landscaping company in the Chicago area. He will be helping Tom and Dale on their projects. You may see Adam measuring your site in preparation for base map drawings.

Tom Schafer, Business Manager
Tom has a Bachelor’s Degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Illinois in 1983. He is also a Certified Nursery Professional in the state of Illinois. His work experience includes greenhouse production and management. He also owned a cut flower business for 5 years. Tom’s responsibilities include plant purchasing & care, inventory control, assisting retail customers, and general management of all office procedures including payroll.

Jason Sauder, Project Manager
Jason has an Associates degree in Avionics and a Bachelor’s in Advanced Technology Studies. He has been with Stuber Land Design for 13 years. Jason’s variety of experiences has inspired him to become a Certified Viking Outdoor Grill Installer, a Certified Unilock Fireplace Installer, a Certified Installer for Outdoor Ponds, and is our outdoor lighting expert. As a Project Manager, he oversees the installation process at each work site and also uses his expert craftsmanship where needed.
